Lindsay became aware of how all-consuming social media could be in 2020 during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic. Fear of the unknown kept her doom-scrolling day and night until she finally removed the apps from her phone just to get through daily tasks without distraction.
Since then, she has turned to books, knitting, photography, and making tiny clay creations as a way to step away from screens and recenter herself. But the pull of the digital world is real, and navigating life between technology and creativity remains an ongoing practice for someone who depends on it for both work and community.
By day, Lindsay is an educational consultant specializing in instructional design and e-learning development using the principles of global citizenship education. She is fortunate to be able to partner with an incredible host of global clients through the company she and her wife Mary founded in 2018, Tumbuh Global. She holds both a Master of Divinity and a Doctor of Ministry degree, blending her expertise in theological education, spiritual formation, and global citizenship awareness to create meaningful learning experiences.
